How does treatment with dental aligners proceed?
- A thorough examination by an orthodontist, scanning of the teeth (virtual impressions), and a series of photos are taken. Based on this data, an orthodontic analysis is created, and an individualized treatment plan with dental aligners is developed.
- Discussion of the orthodontic treatment plan with the patient treatment duration, the number of aligners needed for the treatment, and the need for any additional dental procedures are clarified.
- Treatment begins with the placement of the first aligners and training on proper usage. The aligners are worn constantly and are removed for cleaning and eating. Every 2-3 weeks, they are replaced with new ones according to the individual treatment plan.
- End of treatment: on average, aligners are worn between 3 months and 1 year. At the end of the treatment, you will have perfectly aligned and beautiful teeth.
